It's no longer news that, Nigeria the most populous black country will go into general elections next year. It will again give the citizens another ample chance to elect their leaders.
Nigeria as a country has been struggling to live above board due to the unabated corruption among the people at the helm of affairs. Insecurity, kidnapping, killings maiming of innocent people have characterized the supposed giant of Africa.
The present ruling All Progressives Congress, APC seems to be running out of ideas as the country seems to be having more issues by the day. President Muhammadu Buhari who rode into office through anti-corruption campaign has done little as to the anti-graft fight, as many of his appointees are being faced with corruption charges.
We have never had it so bad like this, economy is nothing to write home about. Prices of stable foods, gas, and other basic products are skyrocketing daily, no thanks to the bad economic polices of the present government.
Naira is falling by minutes. No stable electricity, no good roads, health care system is in comatose.
We need to see beyond APC and PDP as we have tested both. Let's get someone out of the 'box' as the president, we really need a reformer and unifier. We can't continue to be using same method and be expecting a different result, not possible!
Above all, let's get our voter's cards handy. And when it's time for the elections, let's go out to vote for who we believe is suitable. Remember our actions and inactions are contributory to what Nigeria is today.
