Things you must not forget as you prepare for camp

          I write to educate the Otondos as they prepare for their Orientation Course, it is not a news that series of disappointments do occur at various camps due to lack of proper updates before entering camps.

These disappointments take various forms but major one among them is money palava. Since you will not be allowed to move out from camp else there is a genuine reason before you can be issued a pass to leave the camp, of which money is not part of. 

         I will be listing some of the things that you will need so as to make your stay a lovely and enjoyable one, remember that you can only serve once, so you have no choice than to enjoy it. 

The list is as follows:-

1. NYSC Call up Letter

2. Statement of  result or Certificate

3. School ID card

4. Photocopies of the items 1,2 & 3 (at least 7 copies each)

6 Passport photographs (at least 8)

Note: You won't be allowed into camp premises without item no 1, 2 & 3.

9. Bath soap & Sponge
10. Detergent & key Soap
11. Toilet Paper
12. Towel (small one is ok)
13. Sanitary Pads & Tampons (females)
14. Shower Caps (females)

19. White T-shirt (at least 3)
20. White Sports (at least a pair)
21. White tennis shoes (at least a pair)

54. Mobile phone (If you have an internet-enabled camera phone, do take it along. Camp life can be very boring without one. You will like to take pictures and share with your friends. You only need to be very vigilant and protective of your things. If you feel you need a bulletproof vest or helmet for sharp shooters, don't hesitate to pack it along...  Chuckles)

57. Money (at least #10,000), more money, more enjoyment.

NYSC will give you the following items;
1. 2 pairs of white T-shirt and shorts
2. 7/7...  You racking your brain hun? It means all NYSC kits like cap, crested vest, Khaki, best, Jungle boot, 2 pairs of socks and a pair of white tennis.

Contrabands;
Never go to camp with things like folks and mirror.

In conclusion, it is worthy of note to state that you can get all these items in camp, in mami market, your enjoyment in mami is proportional to how heavy your pocket is. #TRUTH
