Two Reasons Why I Can Put My Money On President Muhammadu Buhari That He Will Perform

President Muhammadu Buhari
The emergency of President Muhammadu Buhari on march 28th general election was historic. The general election, which was conducted by Professor Attairu Jega was seen by many people both locals and international bodies as one of the best in the history of Nigeria.

The issue of introduction and use of card readers brought credence to the outcome of the electoral process. This can be confirm as to the accolades that elections received.
Be that as it may, the incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari was seen as a passionate Nigerian.

The reasons why Buhari will perform are:
1. He is the only Nigerian president that is ready and passionate to govern. Let me delve into the history of our resent presidents.

In 1998 when Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was shopping for who to present from South-West, so as to appease or better make up for what happened to late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola (MKO) that won the 1993 general elections under the umbrella of Social Democratic Party (SDP) but never declared as the winner.
The then Head Of State, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida annulled the election due to some reasons best known to him, that singular decision of his nearly plunge Nigeria into another civil war. A lot of lives were lost and property destroyed.

Chief Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo was recommended, he was released from the prison. As a prisoner that just regained his freedom, the primary intention of Obasanjo then must be to go back to his Hill Top Mansion in Ota, Ogun State to rest.

But he was presented, won the election and then sworn-in on May 29th, 1999.
Towards the end of his second term, he lunched a search for his successor though wanted a third term then. The idea of third term was kicked out by the senate.

If he were to be the president of Congo, he would have gotten it because their present President, Denis Sassou Nguesso is enjoying that at the moment.

Late Umaru Musa Yar'Adua was discovered, he was the then governor of Kastina State. He was present for the general elections by same Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), with Goodluck Ebele Jonathan as his running mate.

He won the general elections and was sworn-in on May 29th, 2007. But had health challenge, on 5th of May, 2010 he died.
Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was then sworn-in according to the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria as amended.

But lost to the incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari  of All Progressives Congress (APC) earlier this day.

Following the analogy above, you will agree with me that since 1999, the making of presidents have always been on cheer luck or recommendation but President Buhari emergency was different.

President Muhammadu Buhari was once the Head of State between 1984 - 1985 but for him to be striving to go back, it means that he knew perfectly what he wanted and why he wanted it again.

In 2003, 2007 &  2011 he contested and lost, when he was addressing the press after he lost the 2011 election to Goodluck Jonathan, he burst into tears, this showed his level of passion for Nigeria and Nigerians not desperation.

2. President Muhammadu Buhari to a large extent is seen as a man of integrity. He won the last election due to his accountability, prudence and probity.

He lives a simple life, I was shocked when I saw one of his pictures where he was watching Godswill Orubebe's film when announcement of the election results were being made by the then INEC boss, Prof. Attairu Jega.

My God! The television is not supposed to be seen in the house of an Assembly honorable.
Till the time he contested the 2015 general elections, some people claimed that he had no foreign account!

Even a local government Chairman has foreign account now. President Buhari is over 70 now, it is my believe that he wanted the seat to make a better place.

His antecedents when he was the head of State were superb, that was when War Against in Discipline (WAI) was formed.
Res Ipsa loquitur.

I call on all Nigerians, home and in diaspora to give President Muhammadu Buhari the needed support. The incoming ministers should key into the programme of President Buhari and All Progressives Congress (APC), so that the much spoken 'CHANGE' can be seen and felt by all Nigerians.

Nigeria will be great!
