Revealed: How Tiwa Savage's alleged relationship with Femi Otedola ruined her marriage
- Tiwa once dated Tu face & Don Jazzy
- They estranged couples knew their shady deals before settling down
- Both into drugs
Just days after Tunji 'Teebillz' Balogun broke the dam that held back the flood of issues in his marriage to singer, Tiwa Savage, investigations have revealed gross infidelity and domestic violence are the main reasons the marriage fell apart.
Radar.ng has gathered that Tiwa Savage was aware of her husband's vices way before marriage and she refused to heed the advice of friends and family before solemnizing their union.
A source in the know, exclusively revealed to Radar.ng that Tiwa's relationship with Don Jazzy ended before her marriage to Teebillz and her affair with 2Face was a one-time thing which also happened a long time ago so Tunji bringing it up was a desperate need for points.
Though Teebillz accused his wife of also sleeping with label mate Dr Sid, the source said it isn't possible.
In her own words: "Dr Sid ba wo? Maybe he was the one buying the condoms for Don Jazzy."
Though reports of Tiwa allegedly sleeping with money bags in Nigeria in order to advance her career were prevalent years ago, the source insinuated that her manager and fiance at the time, knew about it and she opened up to him about all her previous relationships but he thought he could handle it.
According to the source:
"Honestly, they are both lying and it's okay so you demonic bloggers don't take advantage of the situation. Fact is, they both knew what they were getting into. He beat her up many times and she took it because they both had dirt on each other. Iparticularly was mad at Tiwa way before she even agreed to marry him. Heck, he was fraudulent way before his coming back to Nigeria. What ruined his relationship with Sauce Kid and co? His other baby mama nko? Go and ask. Ask the big boys in LA about Tee Billions and you will hear his gist. Bi-polar oshi wo? He is toxic, leave his mental issues out of it. Bringing a baby into the toxic relationship pissed off most of us."
It's unclear why Tiwa decided to settle for a society wedding with her alleged pimp and abuser, but the source who is close to the couple claims age was probably the reason as it can't be love.
The source further revealed their marriage almost ended months after they got married, adding that Tiwa discovered her husband was spending her money on things they don't need.
Also Teebillz allegedly kept blackmailing her about her extra-marital affairs. He kept hanging her alleged relationship with oil magnate, Femi Otedola, over her head.
According to the source:
"He accused her of sleeping with Otedola in the early months of her pregnancy. He slapped and locked her out when she was pregnant due to stories of the affair. She never told us if she indeed slept with the man but her husband kept hammering on it. Even if she did, why didn't he just walk? Let me answer that, he's broke and in debt and needs that Otedola money."
Radar.ng also gathered that the couple abused substances during the course of their relationship. It unclear if Tiwa was around drugs during her pregnancy, but another source claims they both abused illicit substances.
The source said:
"While Teebillz was blowing money on women, booze and coke, Tiwa was smoking fish. Abeg make she no lie. Yes, the guy get craze for head, but Tiwa sef mental."
Tiwa who has opened up on issues in their marriage has confirmed most of these allegations. We only hope they do what is best for their baby's sake.

Opinion: Is Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Now Political?
The call by Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) against the arrest or planned arrest of former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is uncalled for and condemnable.
CAN which was established to foster unity amongst Christians and Christian bodies is gradually loosing the focus cum reason for its establishment.
The primary work of the association should be how to propagate the gospel of Christ but the present day CAN is loosing it by the day.
The association should only be interested in the betterment of this country through prayers and contribution meaningful to matters of national interest.
The resent statement accredited to the body, warning President Buhari not to arrest Jonathan is a show of shame and a pointer to the fact that the association is derailing.
As a Christian, I believe that we should all be accountable to all our deeds and misdeeds.
So if the anti-graft agency sees that the former President has a case to answer. Let him defend himself in court.
CAN should stop meddling with politics. condoning corruption under any guise is unacceptable and untenable.
The association should stop acting as an appendage of a political party. Nigeria belongs to us all.
Nothing shall divide us, not even religion.

INEC Chairman Canvases For Nigerians' Support For Free, Fair And Conclusive
![]() |
Professor Yakubu Mahmood, INEC Chairman |
CHAIRMAN of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC),Professor Yakubu Mahmood has urged Nigerians to play their part in ensuring elections were devoid of violence and other vices that led to declaring an election inconclusive.
He said: “It is not just the responsibility of the Commission but the responsibility of all of us. If we play our role and mitigate violence, because you see the fire smoldering, if no action is taken until it develops into an inferno, it becomes difficult for everybody”.
The INEC Chairman made the call yesterday when members of the INEC Press Corps paid him a courtesy call at the Commissions headquarters Abuja.Professor Yakubu explained that INEC more than any other stakeholder would want to see elections concluded on first ballot.
He said: “We have a responsibility as managers of public trust to Nigerians that we would never declare an election inconclusive for its own sake. This is the hard way of making things work.
We will take the criticisms and we will make sure that the votes count and whatever Nigerians decide at the polls is what we eventually collate and declare”.He pointed out that in all the criticisms thrown at the Commission on inconclusiveness of some elections, the Commission had not been accused of declaring a winner outside the provisions of the Electoral Act.
The INEC Chairman expressed optimism that elections in the country were getting better. He attributed this to the introduction of technology in the electoral process, the emergence of stronger and more competitive political parties, reduction in the margin between leading political parties in an election, and the assurance that every vote counted.
On the spectre of violence that had haunted recently conducted elections, the INEC Chairman argued that: “The quality of an election is a reflection of the quality of the politics of a nation”.
He explained that the Commission had concluded elections on first ballot in places where there were little or no violence.Professor Yakubu assured that the Commission would continue to look at the provisions of the Electoral Act and its guidelines and regulations for elections with a view to addressing some of the perceived challenges for better elections.
He assured members of the INEC Press Corps of the Commission’s highest regard and co-operation, and implored them to acquaint themselves with the relevant laws, guidelines as well as workings ofthe Commission to assist them in giving sound reportage to the public.
Earlier, Chairman of the INEC Press Corps, Mr Okey Nnabuchi, had said that “no matter how good your electoral reform policies are, it can only achieve desired results when there is a good and conducive working relationship between the Commission and the media (INEC PRESS CORPS)”.
He explained further that: “If the media is not on the same page withnew policies and plans of the Commission, it would be easy for people to misinterpret such gestures which ordinarily intend to make a difference in our electoral system”.
Mr. Nnabuchi assured that the Corps would always support the good policies and moves of the Commission geared at making our elections the best in Africa.
