The pregnancy of a transgender couple have shocked a lot of people on social media.
People who are used to seeing men impregnate women were surprised to see the reverse after a transgender man announced on Facebook that he has been impregnated by his transgender woman partner.
Two years ago, Diane Rodriguez who is a 33-year-old transsexual woman who used to be a man met 22-year-old Fernando Machado, who used to be a woman via social media and fell in love.
The couple have since then gone on to make history by becoming the first transsexual couple in Ecuador to be expecting a baby.
A lot of social media users expressed mixed feelings after Machado who is from Venezuela, announced that he is three-months pregnant.
Machado and Rodriguez did not undergo full surgery during their gender reassignment process, therefore, getting pregnant was still possible.
