PETITIONS/POINT OF ORDER
Senator Omo-Agege raised a petition from a member of his constituency Col. Aigbe over wrongful dismissal from Nigerian Army Headquarters. The petition was laid and referred to committee on Ethics Privileges and Public Petitions.Senator Gilbert Nnaji raised a point of order on Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC) over reduction of fines for telecommunication companies, under order 42:1 & 52 of the Senate standing rules.
The Senate resolves to invite the NCC, Central bank of Nigeria and other stakeholders to brief the Senate on why the reduction was made.

When responding, Fayose said it openly that the bank financed his campaign. But the bank refuted the claim of the governor.
But yesterday evening, some bank officials of Zenith were seen kneeling down to beg the governor.
