Court Jail 20-year-old Man Who Beats Girlfriend With Hammer Over Facebook Password |PoliFocus

A man, Oscar Blackall, 20, who beat his girlfriend, Alyshia Connorton, with a hammer and kicked her for not giving him her Facebook password has been jailed.

According to Metro.co.uk, Blackall broke down in tears in the dock as the judge described how he had become obsessed with knowing where Connorton was at all times. Reading Crown Court heard how he had also lost his temper when she decided to watch a film by herself in a different room, and deliberately broke her laptop by twisting it.

Tanzania Governor Wants To Create A National Database For Married Men To Curb Infidelity |PoliFocus

The governor of Tanzania's largest city has announced a plan to create and publish a national database of married men to protect women from "heart breaks.", CNN has reported.

Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner Paul Makonda said he has received a lot of complaints from women who were abandoned by their lovers after a marriage proposal, and that the planned database will help combat infidelity.

According to reports, the controversial cleric, while speaking to his congregation, threatened to resign his priesthood by October 1 if the prophecy does not come to pass.
