Nigeria, India Collaborate Against Money Laundering, Economic and Financial Crimes |PoliFocus

The Executive Chairman of EFCC, Abdulrasheed Bawa has met with Sanjay Kumar Mishra, Director, Enforcement Directorate (ED) of India while he attended the 90th Interpol General Assembly in New Delhi, India.

The meeting held on Wednesday, 19th November, 2022 at the ED's Headquarters in New Delhi where the Executives shared experiences and agreed on establishing partnership and co-operation between both agencies in matters of mutual interest and concern, specifically in relation to Money Laundering and other economic and financial crimes.

Government Ekpemupolo after securing the contract moved swiftly to work as many discoveries of illegal pipelines are being discovered. Some are connected to Forcados trunk line, many report have it that this illegality has been on for many years and the federal government together with the navy, army, and even police claimed not to be in the know.

Though many people are questioning the decision of the president Buhari-led government to award such a sensitive task to a private coy but res ipsa loquito. In an economic warlike situation of ours, the end justify the means. 

So far as Tompolo is working on blocking all the leakages of our oil and pride from unpatriotic Nigerians and their greedy foreign collaborator, I think he deserves our support.
