Ex Aviation Minister and a PDP stalwart, Femi Fani-Kayode, has been asked to report at the national headquarters of the Police in Abuja on Tuesday over alleged criminal offences.

The police ‘invitation’ dated August 20 alleges criminal conspiracy, defamation, inciting publication, injurious falsehood and conduct likely to cause breach of public peace.

Odo-Oro-Ekiti, a community in Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti, was on Monday thrown into mourning as its traditional ruler,  Oba Gbadebo Ogunsakin, was stabbed to death.

The South African company in July raised the subscription rate for the DSTV Premium package from N14,700 to N15,800, Compact Plus from N9,900 to N10,650, Compact from N6,300 to N6,800, Family from N3,800 to N4,000, and Access from N1,900 to N2,000.

The Lagos State Police Command on Monday confirmed the arrest of a 29-year-old man, Taiwo Akinola, who allegedly attempted to kill his mother, Mrs Alice Akinola, for money ritual purposes.

The command’s spokesman, CSP Chike Oti, confirmed the arrest in a statement.
