PDP Accuses Gov Bello Of Using N1.3bn To Aquire Tribunal Judgment

The main opposition party in Nigeria, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has revealed that the incumbent governor of Kogi State, Governor Yahaya Bello bought the resent tribunal judgment in his favour.

Strike: Ondo Workers Ground Activities In Government House

Ondo State civil service workers once again took to the busy streets of Akure on Thursday to protest the administration of the embattled Governor Olusegun Mimiko for refusing to pay their outstanding wages.

According to Sahara Reporters, the striking workers have been demanding their six months’ outstanding salaries for 158 days now.

During the protest, the workers shut down the government house at the Alagbaka axis and prevented Mr. Mimiko and his convey from entering.
Armed with their recording mobile phones and gadgets, the workers booed the governor and hurled unprintable abuses on his government for refusing to pay their salaries.

Not Again! Muslim Youths Attack 14-year-old Carpenter For Not Fasting In Kaduna

Barely a week after 70-year-old Bridget Agbahime was murdered by a mob in Kano for alleged blasphemy, another incident has manifested in Kaduna where a carpenter, Mr. Francis Emmanuel, was attacked in Kakuri area of the metropolis by some Muslim youths allegedly for failing to observe the current Ramadan fast.

The incident, which almost claimed the life of Emmanuel, reportedly happened around 2.30pm last Tuesday on Sokoto Road, prompting neighbours and good samaritans to rush him to the St. Gerald Catholic Hospital, Kakuri for medical treatment.

Stephen Okechukwu Keshi, former Super Eagles Coach and one time defender of the Super Eagles is dead.Keshi who was 54 years old died at thewee hours of today, Wednesday, in Benin. 

He was confirmed dead by Ben Olaiya. Olaiya speaking to Vanguard Sport Editor, Tony Ubani on phone shouting Keshi’s nickname said ‘Tony yes the Big Boss is dead the Big boss is dead’.
