N12m Theft: A Case Of Smaller Thieves Stealing From A Bigger Thief

It is with wild jubilation that I received the news of reported theft in the bedroom of the head of legislative arm of the present government.

Though the media house that reported the issue claimed that the money was N300m but the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki has refuted the claim and put the figure at N12m 'only'.

Such an prodigious amount of money shouldn't be put in the bedroom if the money is not a product of sharp practices.

When I heard that such a sum was stolen, I quickly remember a popular axiom which says 'it will get to a time when the poor will have nothing to eat again but the rich'.

Though I'm not glorifying nor supporting stealing of any guise but I think if a thief steals from a thief, it shouldn't be seen as a big deal.

It is a case of ole ji, ole gba.... My quack knowledge of economics made me to know about the benefits of banks, so if the money is pure, it should be put in a bank.

Though the ugly incident was said to have happened a couple days for weeks ago, but got to the know today.

Many aides of Saraki are cooling their heads behind bars at the moment. Inasmuch as we try to investigate the small thieves, we should also do our best to know the source of the money and the actual amount that was stolen.

Better Nigeria is possible.
