I Have Never Taken Bribe In My Life, Says Ameachi
Former Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi earlier today appeared before the Senate as regards his screening as a minister.
It is no longer news the drama that has been going on since his name was mentioned as a ministerial nominee.
There was a petition forwarded by a Senator from his home state, stating that Rotimi Amaechi is corrupt and should not be screened.
Dramatically, his was ommited on the list of those to be screened on Tuesday but was postponed till today.
But what is generating controversy presently is one of his quotes when reacting to questions in the hallow chamber.
In his words
"I Have Never Taken Bribe In My Life"
Hmmmm... It will be hard for a day old baby to believe this claim of his.
After the end of the drilling, though PDP Caucus decided not to ask him any question, he was asked to take a bow and go.
The controversy sorrounding the confirmation or rejection of Ameachi will now die a natural death.
