I Will Pay All Your 7 Months Unpaid Salaries On Monday, If You Vote Jegede —Mimiko Begs Ondo Workers |PoliFocus

Barely 24 hours to much awaited Ondo State governorship election, the incumbent Governor and the the political godfather of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Olusegun Mimiko has begged the Ondo State workers that they should please vote for the party's candidate, Barrister Eyitayo Jegede as the governor.



Gov. Mimiko begged Ondo Workers to vote for Eyitayo Jegede of PDP on Saturday, he said, in his word at the domestic wing of Akure Airport after coming out of the aeroplane from Abuja, that he will pay all the 7months backlogs of unpaid salaries owing Ondo State workers, immediately after election on Monday, 28th November, 2016, once Eyitayo Jegede is returned elected as Ondo State governor.

It would be recalled that electoral empire yesterday obliged to the decision of the appellate court by restating the winner of the party's primary election as it's candidate against Justice Abang's ruling which earlier ordered INEC to recognized the business magnate, Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim.

As it stands now, the following are the leading candidates in the poll:


  • Alliance For Democracy (AD): Chief Olusola Oke 
  • All Progressive Congress (APC): Barr. Rotimi Akeredolu 
  • Peoples Democratic Party (PDP): Barr. Eyitayo Jegede
