INEC Declares Barrister Rotimi Akeredolu Ondo Governor-Elect |PoliFocus

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Rotimi Akeredolu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) the winner of Ondo Governorship election.



Akeredolu with 244,842 votes defeated close rivals, Eyitayo Jegede of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who polled 150,380 votes and Olusola Oke of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) with 126,889 votes.

Breakdown of the results:
AD.      126,889
APC.     244,662
PDP.     150,381

LGAs  Okitipupa & Ilaje.

PDP 2 LGAs
Ondo East & Ondo West.

APC  14
LGAs  Eseodo, Akure South, Odigbo, Idanre, Ose, Irele, Akoko NE, Ifedore, Ile Oluji/Okegbo, Akure N, Akoko SE, Owo, Akoko NW, Akoko SW.
