Ekiti 2018: Only Segun Oni Can Rescue Ekiti From Its Present State Of Comatose —Oguntoyinbo

The ldo Osi Local Government coordinator of Ekiti State Grassroot Support Movement, Mr David Oguntoyinbo has said the entrance of Engr Segun Oni into the governorship race of Ekiti state is a welcome development, saying he is confident that only the likes of Engr Oni can rescue the state from its present state of comatose.



Speaking in ldo Ekiti during the weekend he said what is Paramount now is how to wrestle power from the Fayose PDP led government.

The coordinator who eulogised Engr Segun Oni for being purposeful in his quest to lead the state again, said his first regime remains indelible in the history of Ekiti state he also remarked that the peace witnessed during the first regime of Engr Oni remains an added advantage to him, he also said the large turnout of people at his declaration has further shown that the Ekiti Masses are solidly behind him, the coordinator also used the medium to pass a vote of confidence on the state and local government executive of the All progressive Congress led by Chief Jide Awe, and Chief Femi Afolabi respectively.

The coordinator on behalf of the group urged the party to ensure a free and fair primary, but must ensure that a formidable and experienced flagbearer  emerges.

He further boasted that come what may the All Progressive Congress is battle ready to occupy the Oke ayaba government house come 2018 as the handwriting on the wall shows that the Ekiti people are tired of the Fayose Led PDP.
