Alan Pardew Agrees Terms With West Brom, To Be Announced Shortly |PoliFocus

Alan Pardew will reportedly be named West Brom boss on Wednesday morning.

The former Crystal Palace and Newcastle chief is said to have agreed a contract with the Premier League strugglers until 2020.

Alan Pardew is ready to take over lowly West Brom - on a three-year deal
The Baggies sacked previous manager Tony Pulis on November 20 after a run of just four win in 22 Prem games.

And Times writer Matt Hughes tweeted on Tuesday night that Pardew was "expected" to be appointed early on Wednesday.

Ex-Southampton chief Pardew admitted on Sunday that he wanted the job and was already in talks with the midlanders.

He said then: "I have had discussions with them, it's an attractive job and we'll see where it goes.

"It's a club that have got a really good set of players, it's a good opportunity for a manager and if it's me it's me.

"It's an attractive job because they have good quality in there, maybe they should be doing better than they are."

But Pardew added: "Looking at them and the depth of the squad it has definitely got some improvement in there and hopefully that's what they'll do."

The Baggies' winless 12-match run in all competitions dates back to August 22.

Pulis' assistant Gary Megson has been caretaker boss for the past eight days.
