The group also expressed his sympathy to the people of Benue state and the people of Orin Ekiti who were the latest victims of the attack.
ln a communiqué issued and signed by his president Hon Femi Oguntoyinbo in lbadan over the weekend, the l.D.P president reiterated the belief of the group in the unity of the nation, urging Nigerians to continue to pray for peace.
He used the medium to confirm the readiness of the group to participate in this year Ekit gubernatorial election, he urged Ekiti people to be ready to chase out the present PDP-led government in Ekiti with their votes saying the government has lost direction long ago.
He said Fayose government was too petty for a state with high intellectual resources such as Ekiti. Oguntoyinbo urged the APC in Ekiti to brace up and face the challenge of picking a credible candidate that will take over from the PDP so as to move the state forward.
