At the expiration of the 14-day ultimatum issued by its National Executive Council (NEC), the association said that it had resolved to proceed on indefinite strike until their demands were met
The national president of NARD, Dr. Aliyu Sokomba, who addressed a press conference in Abuja said that all its members have been instructed to withdraw their services including those attending to covid-19 patients.
The association asked federal government to make alternative arrangement for handling of cases at the hospitals as it would no longer guarantee attendance by its members.
