A Call For Sanctity In The Social Media Space

I write to display my anger on the way some people are abusing the social media in Nigeria.

It is not by force to break news, it is better to remain silence than to post rubbish.

Even if a mad man refuses to talk, he may be regarded as a sane fellow.

"Abeg, no be by force to break news"

In resent hours we have received different stupid news that went viral, should I talk of the Shi'ites saga of the leader losing his life, wife and Son to the crisis or Alison Madueke death rumour?

I don't know where and why this people cook up these stories, is it to incite the people, create tension in the polity or what?

People should be mindful of the things they post online, so that we don't lose our credibility in the global community of States.

If conventional media should have rules guiding them, social media shouldn't be an exception.

Off to bed my people,
Good night and have a wonderful rest.
