Bale Ruled Out Of Real Madrid's Champions League Q/F Second Leg Against Bayern |PoliFocus

Gareth Bale has been rules out of Real Madrid’s Champions League quarter-final second leg at home to Bayern Munich on Tuesday.



Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane confirmed in his pre-game press conference, Bale, who sat out the Sporting Gijon win on Saturday, will not be risked against the Germans.

Bale was substituted during the second half of last week’s 2-1 win in Germany at the Allianz Arena is out of Tuesday’s return leg and is a doubt for Sunday’s ‘El Clasico’ at the Bernabeu.

The Wales forward was sidelined for three months due to ankle injury earlier this season, was taken off in the 2-1 first leg win against the Bundesliga champions in Munich last week.

Gareth Bale is a major doubt for El Clasico on Sunday Zidane said "Gareth has been working hard to get back and to play with the side and, after his three months out from injury, he’s come back and was very excited about playing again.”

“But he’s got a little problem that has come up again. We hope it’s nothing.”
