The meeting which lasted about two hours took place inside the office of the vice president at the presidential villa, Abuja.
After the meeting, Sheriff who once assumed the office of the national chairman of the PDP in controversial circumstance declined to speak to journalists.
But LEADERSHIP gathered that his visit to Osinbajo may not be unconnected with his current moves to defect to the ruling APC.
The former controversial PDP boss was sacked by the Supreme Court recently.
Reports have also suggested that his moves to switch party has been blocked by the Borno State chapter of the ruling APC.
