Ekiti: S/W Leadership Okays Direct Primary Election... Any Aspirant Who Steps Down Before The Primary'll Have A Refund Of His/Her Nomination Form |PoliFocus

The leadership of the party in the South/West In Conjunction with all the Governorship Aspirants in EKITI and the state party executive met today and resolve  as follows;

To adopt Direct Primary involving All card carrying APC members in Ekiti State to chose its candidate



The SouthWest Leaders and Other stakeholders including Gov Almakura were mandated to meet the National leadership of the party with a view to enroll their consent and approval

It was also resolved that any Aspirant that stepped down from the race before the primary will have his or her nomination form fee refunded

The primary will take place in 177 wards of the state

The meeting  in unison also described the invasion of the party secretariat in Ado Ekiti by some miscreants as rascality of the highest order.

And that they  recognised the High Chief Jide Awe-led executives as the authentic and recognised body of Exco in the state, adding that whoever is behind such unconstitutional and fruitless attempt to insult the party should be strictly cautioned.
