Adele’s "Hello" Becomes Fastest Selling Single since Elton John’s Candle in the Wind

Adele’s Hello has broken music record by becoming the fastest selling single since the release of Elton John’s Candle in the Wind.

The single has sold a total of 480,000 digital copies in America alone. Hello is now officially the fastest selling single in 18 years.

Elton John’s Candle in the Wind, which was released in 1997 as a tribute to the late Princess Diana, was the first song to top 400,000 sales in the first three weeks of its release.

Adele who compared her success to Kim Kardarshian’s Paper Magazine Cover said ‘I did a Kim Kardashian.

Thank God it wasn’t with my a**. It would’ve actually broke the Internet if it was my bum!’
