LA LIGA: Real Sociedad Sacks Former United Manager David Moyes

Spanish side Real Sociedad have sacked former
Manchester United and Everton Manager David
Moyes a day short of his 1st year anniversary at
the club.

Moyes, 52, led the Basque club to 12th spot last
season after taking charge on the 10th of
November, 2014 but has struggled so far this
season with just 9 points from the first 11
games of the new La Liga season.

Friday’s 2-0 defeat to newly promoted side Las
Palmas was the club’s fourth defeat in five
games and it proved to be David Moyes’ last
game in charge.

His contract termination was confirmed through
a statement released by the club earlier today.
Real Sociedad will face Europa League Champions Sevilla and European Champions
Barcelona in their next two league games after
the international break.
