Supreme Stops Saraki's Trial At The CCT

The Supreme Court earlier today, officially suspended the proceedings in the corruption trial of Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).

This is to allow the apex court in the land determine if Saraki's grounds of trying to escape
justice in the "false assets declaration" case should be justified or dismissed.

It will be recalled that the incumbent President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki has been facing trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal over false assets declaration.
