Economic Mess: President Buhari Should Swallow His Pride And Consult Ifeanyi Ubah

The present state of naira at the parallel market is a thing of concern to all Nigerians. It is not far from the truth if I claim that President Muhammadu Buhari’s economic policy is a failure at the moment.

In the history of our great country, naira hasn't suffered this kind of humiliation before.

Presently at the parallel market, naira is now N400 to a United States dollar! What a shame.

It is lugubrious to see some political class supporting him blindly. We don't have to pretend that all is well.

Nigeria is our project and taking it to a lofty cum enviable height is not negotiable and a task for us all.

It is with alacrity that I received the assertion of the oil mogul and businessman with noble standing, Ifeanyi Uba, Chief Executive Officer of Capital Oil, saying that he can turn the fortune of dying naira around within a month!

This he made known on a television programme in Lagos.

He even sworn with his life to it. This gave me a sigh of relief that he really knew what he talked about.

President Buhari should please bury his pride and consult this man. This is not about politics nor region but for Nigeria to progress.

No one can't be labelled foolish but a man that believes that he is Mr. know all. This Ubah should be given benefit of doubt and the present debate and campaign for made in Nigeria products should continue.

We all need one another to survive, and salvaging the present economic mess is a collective rescue mission.

If we buy naija, our naira will bounce back. We should stop 'I must buy foreign' syndrome.
