Sunday Oliseh; A Perfect Example Of 'Enu Dun Ro Efo' Philosophy

Sunday Oliseh
Sunday Oliseh
It is no longer news that Sunday Oliseh had resigned his appointment as the head coach of Super Eagles with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) but the hot debate that this development is generating is becoming a global phenomenon.

In the wee hours of today, Oliseh announced his resignation on Twitter citing various reasons for the decision, among which are;
  • Contracts violations
  • Lack of support
  • Unpaid wages, benefits to his players and assistant coaches

In as much as I tend to blame the NFF on this chain of reasons highlighted by him but his dismal performance at the CHAN was nothing to write home about.

Though NFF shares the larger percentage of the buck of the blame by not given him the enabling environment to explore.

Basic logistics should be readily available for a coach to excel but his media outbursts were not necessary and unwarranted.

Be that as it may, Oliseh who is known to be an unrepented football critic and analyst finds it very easy to criticise, condemn and even nail players and their handlers, shocked his critics when he described them as being 'mad'.

Though he has apologised for the rant but he shouldn't forget the 'law of Karma'  or should I call it 'Golden Rule'.

It is my believe that he now knows better, running analysis is far different from being the actor on the pitch.

It is very easy to cook a delicacy with mouth, than staying in the kitchen to practicalise all what have been said.

I wish him well in his future endeavour.
