Ahmed Musa Sets To Join Leicester City Ahead Of Incoming Season

2015/16 Premier League hopeful, Leicester City have renewed their interest in Nigeria and CSKA Moscow striker, Ahmed Musa ahead of next season and may get their man given their new war chest.

Leicester are said to have revived their interest in the Nigerian international as they plan for the Champions League next season.

The 23-year-old was a target for Claudio Ranieri in January but Leicester was put off by CSKA’s asking price of £20 million.

Musa is fast, can play across the frontline and has scored 12 goals in 32 games this season.

He also has Champions League experience, something lacking in Ranieri’s squad for now.

The Mail Online reported that Leicester sent scouts to watch Musa against Lokomotiv Moscow earlier this month to keep up to date with his performances.

Leicester had two bids rejected in January but will hope to strike a compromise at around £18m for Musa in the coming weeks.
