The joint-La Liga leaders are in the market for a new boss with Luis Enrique set to stand down at the end of the current campaign.
As yet, there is no clear favourite to take role, but they have shown their preference is generally to hire someone who knows the philosophy of the club.
Also Radio Catalunya have revealed Barca have spoken to former defender Blanc about his interest in succeeding Enrique in the summer.
The Frenchman won three league titles in three seasons as manager of Paris Saint-Germain, while he also won the League Cup in each campaign and the French Cup twice.
