Roberto Martinez has been sacked by Everton football club with immediate effect, naij.com reports.
The decision was reached after the Toffees managed to pick up only four points in the Premier League since March 5.
Their 3-0 loss to Sunderland on Wednesday May 11 stretched their dismal run of form to just one win in 10 matches in all competitions.
