Leicester Coach, Claudio Ranieri Honoured In Italy With Enzo Bearzot Award
Claudio Ranieri has been awarded the Enzo Bearzot award for best Italian coach of the season after leading Leicester to an improbable Premier League title.

Ranieri returned home to Rome to accept the award and he said: “Honestly, I still haven’t realised what we’ve done we started off just trying to avoid relegation and you saw what happened.”

The award was founded in 2011 to honour Bearzot, the 1982 World Cup-winning coach who died in 2010.

Ranieri said: “I never met Bearzot but I’ve been told by people that they see his spirit in me and that fills me with pride.”
