#Buhari365Days: Opinion: Buhari Shouldn't Be Condemned But Encouraged

It is no longer news that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration clocked a year yesterday. Many reactions have been trailing the event.

Larger percentage of Nigerians held a believe that it was a sharp regression and that the much acclaimed 'change' was a mirage and only used as bait to woo us towards voting in All Progressives Congress (APC) into power.

It will be recalled that Muhammadu Buhari was sworn in on May 29th, 2015. Ever since he took over power, it has been blame games and era of denials of manifestos.

I cannot pretend that the free fall of the price of crude oil all over the globe will have no significant impact on the economy of the nation, being a country that rely solely on oil for its survival.

The situation is pathetic but since I'm of the opinion that Buhari and his clones are not airhead, it is expected of them to have been working assiduously towards diversifying the economy, so blaming ancestors or previous government is not tenable at this point.

Juxtaposing the APC electioneering promises and the achievements so far, one can't but rate the present administration low in this first 365 days.

Be that as it may, what the present administration need from an average Nigeria is encouragement not condemnation.

We need to be praying for the success of the administration. We should stop playing politics on every steps being made.

The present regime was given four-year nod to govern us, so if they perform below expectation, the onus lies on us to do the needful.

Like I usually say, we can change the change if there is need for it.

Happy belated Democracy Day to all Nigerians all over the globe.
