No Reason For You To Be Lazy!

I have studied with keen interest a woman beggar along Lagos-Ibadan expressway here in Ibadan. No matter how I jet out very early, I always meet her at her spot, putting her best in her 'chosen' career.

I didn't write this to malign nor demean her but for us to learn one or two things from her way of life.

One of the lessons to be learnt, she didn't allow her deformity to confine her in her room, thereby rendering her useless and waiting for her death but rather, she believes she can still make ends meet in her own little way.

It is my believe that the proceeds from her alms begging can still be used to put food on the table for her children, to say the least.

Another important lesson is her 'punctuality'. It is a common saying that 'punctuality is the soul of business'.

Our present work might not be our dreamed work but we still need to put in all our best, because it may be a preparing ground for the next level. So being punctual and dedicated is a must.

If a beggar can be making little on daily basis, then YOU have no justifiable reason to stay glued to your television everyday and keeps complaining about President Muhammadu Buhari or the Governor of your State.

Never despise the little beginning, remember that little drops of water makes an ocean. Blue collar jobs are fast becoming a mirage in Nigeria, else you have strong connection, I don't want to talk about the resent controversial employment of the cronies of President Buhari, Atiku Abubakar, Bukola Saraki and top-notch of APC into Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

So, wake up to reality and make productive use of the time available to you.

Happy New Month my beloved readers.
