Telecoms Giant Nokia Returns To Nigeria, Opens Office In Lagos |PoliFocus

Nokia, the Swedish telecoms, which hitherto left the country some months ago has returned and opened its office in Lagos for business.

In a statement issued on its re-opening of business office in the country, the company restated its constructive and collaborative engagement with the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC.


Nokia disclosed that its business operations and support to its customers in the country were not negatively affected by the brief office closure.

“Nokia has operated in Nigeria for over a decade, and as in all other markets where we have a presence, we have conducted business with sound corporate governance”, the company said in a statement.

“We are always mindful that our business success is based upon superior commercial propositions and long-lasting partnerships with regulators, governments,suppliers, customers, partners and employees inall our markets”, the company stated.

According to the global telecom industry player, it takesits responsibilities and obligations towards building a sustainable industry that contributes to the growth of local economies very serious.

The company also restated its full commitment to acting in accordance with applicable requirements and regulations when delivering world-class connectivity solutions to the Nigerian market, in adherence with its culture of high-performance, innovation and integrity. -Today.ng
