The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara earlier today worship with the internally displaced persons otherwise known as IDPs in Edo State.
The service which was held at the International Christian Centre in Uhuoga.
This singular act of the humble Speaker will in no small measure boost the morale of the IDPs and will make them feel among.
Dogara made this known through his Twitter account.
It will be recalled that the incessant bombings by the religious extremists cum fundamentalists known as Boko Haram has been unleashing terror on the people of the North-East part of the country.
Thereby making evacuation of people from this troubled zone necessary. It is my prayer that peace will return soonest so that these people can make back to their day-to-day business and activities.
