President Buhari’s Vacation, Ill-timed

It is no longer news that President Muhammadu Buhari is on vacation in London at the moment. It is no crime to go on vacation especially for someone like him with high volume of tasks.
But the timing is a bit wrong but if the trip is hinged on his health, it can be said to be a necessity.

When I read one of his interviews where he posited that he is in London because is doctors are based there, I was perplexed and flabbergasted at the statement.

I expect him to build an institution that will work as a president. It is an insult to we Nigerians to hear that from our president.

Should we say there is no money to build world class hospital here or no manpower or human resources to manage such??

Until we get it right, we will continue to complain and complain. Nigeria is blessed by Almighty God both in natural and human resources.

If a governor in Nigeria will always travel abroad all because he has fever, then we have everything to worry about.

Away from the statement of Buhari, for him to go on short holiday or should I say honeymoon when the value of naira decreases by the day is ill-timed.

As at yesterday, a United States dollar was 310 to naira!! What a shame and s pound now is roughly N500. The highest in the history of Nigerian economy.

If you interview my maternal grandma today, she still believes that a UK pound is still N2...... Where did we get it wrong?

Buhari and his cohorts should stop this blame game, the destiny of Nigeria now lies on them and they cannot afford to let us down.

Some of us were at the forefront of the change vanguard then, though I'm not regretting my decision yet but the realisation of their electioneering campaigns is getting slimmer and dimmer by the day.

President Buhari should sit down to work rather than being a tourist president. Majority of his decisions since inception are controversial.

Should I talk about the much controversial #2016Budget or his intrepid decision to disobey court orders thereby showcasing himself as a freebooter????

He should come up with a workable economic plan and also work towards fulfilling larger percentage of his electioneering campaigns.

I wish you a memorable stay and journey back to Nigeria on Wednesday.
