Contrary to the rumour flying around that one of the detainees of the Ekiti State assembly lawmakers, Afolabi Akanni is dead, the said lawmaker is alive but seriously sick.
The latest development was made known by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), using it Twitter account.
In its tweet:
"FLASH: Afolabi Akanni, the Ekiti state assembly lawmaker in DSS custody is alive but sick."
This has laid to rest the rumour that was peddled by the Ekiti State government earlier today about the honorable's present state.
