Cameroonian Footballer, Samuel Eto’o has in a case against his former girlfriend earned her a six month jail term, Herald has reported.
Pronouncing the sentence in Yaounde, Cameroon, the court has sentenced Nathalie Koah, an ex-girlfriend to the football star a six months jail term having found her guilty of stealing then footballer’s watch.
The court in its sentenced termed the‘act of stealing’ as “improper retention” of the footballer’s property.
The jail sentence which is on a 3 year suspension is accompanied with a fine of 12.7 million CFA Francs which the court ordered the ex-girlfriend to pay to the footballer.
Koah, with this sentence has suffered yet another major loss against the footballer as her book based on the 7-years relationship with the Cameroonian footballer titled “Revenge Porn” has been banned in France and Cameroon andher court case against Samuel Eto’o for blackmail and coercion was thrown out.
