2016 Police Recruitment Update: Portal Bounces Back (See How To Apply & Requirements)

Against the crash of the police recruitment portal, the issue has been resolved now. 

You can now start or complete your application process. 

Visit www.psc.gov.ng to have it done. 

Posts available:

  • Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) 
  • Cadet Inspector of Police
  • Police Constable

Steps for follow:
On the homepage, click on MENU  
Select CAREERS 
Scroll down to JOIN NIGERIA POLICE FORCE 
it will take you to where your details will be inputted 

NOTE:

You MUST have a valid EMAIL address 
You must DOWNLOAD and submit guarantors' form
"Before or After your application, you must download a copy of the Guarantor's Form. This is to be signed by verifiable references from any two (2) of the following:
Traditional Rulers, Magistrate, Local Government Chairman, Heads of Educational Institutions attended, Career Civil Servant not below the rank of Grade Level 12, Police Officer not below the rank of CSP, or Military Officer not below the rank of Lieutenant Colonel."

To Apply as SPECIALISTS:

"To apply for a Specialist position, candidates must possess relevant certificates and/or credentials in the required technical discipline. This Certificate must be equivalent to the minimum entry qualification(s) of the position applied for. During application, ensure that you click on the Specialists' Option Button and then Select the appropriate field you qualify for from the list of possible positions."

POLICE CONSTABLE

Candidates must have at least 5 credit passes in WAEC or its equivalent in not more than 2 sittings.

CADET INSPECTOR

Candidates must possess at least one of the following from a reputable Polytechnic or College of Education: OND, NCE, or their equivalents.

CADET ASP

Candidates must possess at least B.SC., B.A., B.TECH., HND or an equivalent degree from a reputable University or Polytechnic.
