It will be recalled that President Buhari has earlier made his intention known that he will not assent to the budget else the he sees the details.
The documents which were presented to him by the Chief of Staff to the President, Alhaji Abba Kyari around 12 noon.
Constitutionally, the President has only 30 days to assent to it, failure to do that, the National Assembly members (NASS) will override the veto power of Mr President and sign it on his behalf.The #2016Budget document was transmitted to President Muhammadu Buhari today at about 12pm by Chief of Staff, Alhaji Abba Kyari.— APC Nigeria (@APCNigeria) 7 April 2016
The Big question is, can the President scan through the details of the budget with two weeks? I started by counting from the day it was passed by the National Assembly.
