Court Cleared Porsche Of Complexity In The Dead Of Paul Walker
A court has dismissed a lawsuit that sought to blame Porsche for the crash that killed Fast & Furious actor Paul Walker.

Walker, 40, was riding in a Porsche CarreraGT driven by his friend Roger Rodas when the car span out of control in California in November 2013.

US District Judge Philip Gutierrez on Monday rejected a lawsuit filed by the driver's widow, Kristine Rodas.

He ruled there was nothing to support her claims the sports car lacked key safety features and its suspension had failed.

"Plaintiff has provided no competent evidence that Rodas' death occurred as a result of any wrongdoing on the part of defendant," Judge Gutierrez wrote.

Walker was a passenger in the car when it lost control Porsche is still facing two other cases filedby Walker's daughter and father in Los Angeles Superior Court.T

he actor was on a break from filming the seventh episode of the Fast & Furious franchise when the vehicle struck trees and burst into flames in Santa Clarita.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and California Highway Patrol found unsafe speed, not mechanical problems, was to blame.

Investigators said the Porsche was going up to 94mph (150kph) when it crashed.

The carmaker has denied wrongdoing in the design, manufacture or marketing of the Carrera GT.
