Opinion: Shouldn't We Start Stoning Jobless Nigerians That Defend This Government On Social Media?

I know my post title might be a bit ambiguous but I think it is necessary. We all voted for the present Buhari-led administration due to his antecedent and on level of probity.

But the hope of better Nigeria is getting dimmer by the day. It is only an hypocrite that we say it with all emphasis that things are going on smoothly in Nigeria as of today.

No electricity, no petrol! Petrol which forms the bedrock of almost every aspect of Nigerian economy is now N300 per litre.

There was hike in electricity tarrif, yet to light... The present state of Nigeria’s economy can be said to be in comatose.

But my reason for this post is all about these clandestine recruitment of the children and relatives of the top-notch cum big wigs of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Some weeks ago, the apex bank, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) shady activities as regards this backdoor employment was leaked. It was condemned by virtually all Nigerians.

But the resent one is that of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), if the claim of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is anything to go by.

The party made this allegation through his Twitter Handle @PdpNigeria.
See the tweet below:

If democracy truly a government by the people and for the people? I think that definition doesn't exist in Nigerian political system. If you ask me, I will tell you that it is a government of the few and for the few.

My annoyance is not directly to the people at the helms of affairs but to political tyros that are jobless and still go to the social media to bear their allegiance to a particular party or government.

Some will even go to the level of abusing other people's ethnic groups or families, just to drive a point.

Im not against you showing your solidarity, but the question I want you to answer is that, what have I gain or what do I stand to gain in supporting such party or government??

I see it as a stupid act if as a graduate, you tax your mum for money for subscription and still go ahead to write rubbish on social media, while the people that you are supporting are planting their children and wards in juicy organisations and parastatals by the day.

You better use your brain. Another question for you.

Do you normally see these children (your leaders children) during electioneering? The answer is hell no!

It means that they like using unsuspecting youths as catapillars during the election but after the inauguration, their families members will fly in to enjoy what you have laboured for.

They will tell you to go back to farm while their children and relatives are being fixed up on CBN, FIRS, NNPC, just to mention but few.

Use your brain... The same children in these companies should go to social media to sing their praises!

If you didn't pay for my subscription, you cannot determine what my post will be!!!
