Ekiti: Proposed Protest Against Buhari Uncalled for And Condemnable —PoliFocus

The rumour reaching POLIFOCUS has it that Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has concluded his plan to embark on a massive protest against perceived 'selective' anti-corruption crusade of President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration tomorrow Monday, June 27th.

A humongous amount of money was said to have been airmaked for this politically motivated move.

I don't have a problem protesting any anti-people policies but wasting taxpayers money on frivolities is uncalled for and condemnable.

Democracy allows and welcome opposition(s) lest the country becomes a one-man show but it should be done within the ambit of the law.

Using the State’s instruments to settle personal vendetta is out of place.

Though I will not blame Fayose too much but the boorish and susceptible Ekiti indigenes that was once knew and regarded as Fountain of Knowledge.
