Apachor, as Inalegwu is fondly called, was until the incident a food vendor at Opaha Road in Otukpo, the headquarters of Idoma community.
According to a citizen, who gave his name as Apeh, the victim (names withheld), became unconscious and started developing mental disorder after the suspect, Innalegwu forcefully had carnal knowledge of the boy through the anus.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday.
The gay suspect has been handed over to the Otukpo Police Command for further investigation.
When DAILY POST contacted the Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, Moses Yamu, he said the state command was yet to be briefed.
