In the list, Ali Modu Sheriff’s faction of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lost out as the umpire recognised Makarfi-led faction that produced Barr. Eyitayo Jegede as against the business tycoon, Barr. Jimoh Ibrahim that was presented by out-of-favor Sherrif.

- Better Nigeria Progressive Party (BNPP): Hon. Funmilayo Jenyo Ataunoko
- Citizens Popular Party (CPP): Prince Peter Fasua
- Democratic Peoples Congress (DPC): Reverend Dr. M.D Adeeyo

Meanwhile, Advance Congress of Democrats (ACD) and United Progressive Party (UPP) refused to submit back their nomination forms to the commission.
