Pastor Adeboye visits Wike, prays for peace in Rivers

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG), on Monday, visited the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, and offered prayers for the peace of the state.

Adeboye made it clear that “whatever little problem that is still there in the state, God will make peace to reign”.

Earlier, the state governor, Wike confessed that prayersof leading Christian Leaders have been the sustaining force behind Nigeria.

Speaking at the Government House, Port Harcourt when he received in audience, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Governor Wike said: “If not for the prayers of men of God, what would have happened to Nigeria”.

The governor thanked God for the exploits of the General Overseer of RCCG, noting that he had been a vessel of God used in blessing Nigeria.

He said that his administration was anchored on God while no step was taken without the government seeking the approval of God.

Pastor Adeboye said that he was in Rivers State as part of his annual visit to the state to meet with members of the church and pray for them.

The cleric noted that Rivers State has the second largest population of RCCG members in the country. He said that he was always concerned about the well being of the people of the state.

“The Almighty God will let peace reign Supreme in this state. There will be progress and development. 

Whatever little problem we may still have, God will settle them”, he said.The RCCG General Overseer offered special prayers for 
the people of Rivers State and the government of the state.
