The final burial arrangements for the late king of Ibadanland, has been made public by the Oyo State Government, below are the programme of events.
1. Final burial arrangements/calender for the late Olubadan of Ibadanland, HIM,Oba Samuel Odulana Odugade1
2. The burial arrangements starts tomorrow with the Jumaat Service, on Friday 5th February 2016 at the Central Mosque, Oja Oba, Ibadan.
3. It commences on Sunday, 7th February at the Cathedral of St. Peter, Aremo, Ibadan for the Service of Songs.
4. His lying-in-state will take place at the Igbo Elerin grammar school compound, Ibadan from 2pm on Monday, 8th February.
5. The symposium will take place at the Trenchard Hall of the University of Ibadan at 11 am on Tuesday, February 9th 2016, with the culture day to follow suit at the Lekan Salami stadium at 2pm.
6. The lying-in-state/Day of tributes will be held at the Mapo Hall Ibadan on Wednesday, February 10 at 10am.
7. On Thursday Feb 11th, the Governor's oration will be read at the house of Chiefs, Parliament Building at 11am with the Christian Wake to take place at the Monatan Palace of Oba Odugade 1 at 5pm.
10. The funeral service will be held at the Cathedral of St Peter, Aremo, Ibadan while the reception will be at the Ibadan recreation club
