Yaya Toure set to leave Man City as Guardiola arrives

Yaya Toure
Yaya Toure could leave Manchester City in the summerafter it was confirmed that Pep Guardiola will take over as manager, his agent has told The Sun.

On Monday, City announced that Guardiola, who sold Toure to City when boss of Barcelona in 2010, would take over at the Etihad in the summer.

And agent Dimitry Seluk revealed he expected that to mean his client would depart.

“I think Yaya will leave the club. But before leaving, I hope he will again win the league and all the cups,” he said.

“It’s not a question of whether Pep likes him or not. It’s life, you know.”Bayern Munich Guardiola, who has signed a three-year deal, will succeed Manuel Pellegrini, who said he would leave the club at the end of June.

Seluk appeared to question his success and added: “Barcelona win because it’s like a big family, and their structure is an example for everybody.

“It’s not a question of personnel. Luis Enrique has done the same as Guardiola. It’s not possible to say forever that it’s the team of Guardiola.“Yaya won every trophy in England without Guardiola.

Will Guardiola win without Yaya?”Ivory Coast international Toure, 32, will have one year left on his contract at the end of the season, meaning he could be available for a cut-price transfer fee.

Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG and Italian giants Inter Milan have been reported as possible destinations.
