Report coming from France has indicated that, Karim Benzema has been fired from France's national team.
So in other words, Benzema cannot be called up by the national team until he is convicted or cleared of the alleged offence.
In case you need a recap, this all relates to an alleged attempt to extort money from Benzema's fellow French international Mathieu Valbuena over a sex video.
Benzema denies wrong doing, but if found guilty, could face a minimum of five years in prison.
