A groom in the United Kingdom, turned his own wedding into a fist fest, beating up two of his bride’s best friends.
Police arrested 27-year-old John Paul Campbell from Macclesfield, after he punched his wife’s 26-year-old best friend, Samantha Dewar, who was a bridesmaid.
Campbell punched Dewar so hard it knocked her out. She suffered a fractured cheekbone and had to have a metal plate inserted to rebuild her cheek. She also suffered a black eye.
Campbell claimed he punched Dewar because she interfered in an argument.
He was arrested and charged and has since pleaded guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm when he appeared before a Magistrates Court.
